Governance

Resurrection Catholic School is owned by Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc., which is sponsored by the Congregation of the Resurrection, United States Province headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

The school freely chooses to affiliate with the Archdiocese of Mobile and its Office of Catholic Schools. Like all Catholic institutions in the Archdiocese, we respect and conform to the authority of the Archbishop of Mobile. The school is directly governed by the Pastor/Director, his associate director, the local Advisory Board of Directors and the provincial Superior and Council of the United States Province of the Congregation of the Resurrection. In both civil and canon (church) law Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South and the school are distinct legal entities.


 

Extended Care


The Extended Care Program is an extension of the school day for children enrolled at Resurrection. Hours of operation are 3:10 to 5:30 daily on school days and closed on school holidays and noon dismissals. A registration form must be completed for those participating in this program; other details will be published in the Extended Care Handbook. All students must be picked up by 5:30 PM. There will be a $3.00 charge for each fifteen-minute increment thereafter if child/children are picked up after 5:30.
